Why is my personal information being collected?

Your personal information is being collected so that we can process your Operation Wanted discounted desexing registration and provide you with further information about the program. It may also be used for purposes such as:

to keep you informed of donation appeals, other fundraising, events and memberships
education, advocacy and providing inforation and existing and new campaign
quality control and reserach purposes e.g. asking you to participate in a survey about your involvement with us

If you choose not to provide your personal information, we may not be able to process your registration and/or keep you informed about Operation Wanted.

Your personal information will be held by both RSPCA Queensland and the RSPCA organisation in your state or territory.

Contact details are usually disclosed to:

our employees, contractors and/or service providers for the purposes of operation of our supporter and customer services, and to otherwise provide information, products and services to you including, without limitation, web hosting providers, IT systems administrators, mailing houses, payment processors, data entry service providers, electronic network administrators
RSPCA Australia and other state and territory RSPCA organisations
RSPCA appointed marketers such as street and telephone marketers
suppliers and other third parties with whom we have commercial relationships, where this is necessary to provide you with a service or product

The site displays User Generated Content (UGC) from social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok and YouTube on our website and other digital platforms. We do not claim to have ownership to any of the images, videos or content posted through these channels. However, by posting to or tagging any RSPCA Australia or a Member Society official channels, you hereby grant RSPCA Australia or a Member Society a non-exclusive, royalty free, worldwide, revocable, non-transferable, perpetual licence to use, modify, delete from, add to, publicly display and/or reproduce your content without limitation in any online media formats and through any social media channels, pages or accounts.
