Sunshine Coast residents support Operation Wanted

More vet practices on the Sunshine Coast are supporting Operation Wanted this year, encouraging local residents to desex their pets.

“Last year 854 pets were desexed in the region and we hope this year that even more responsible owners consider the simple operation for their pets,” said RSPCA Qld spokesperson Michael Beatty.

14 vet practices in the Sunshine Coast Council area are offering 20% off cat and dog desexing until August 31!

“A special thank you is in order to those participating vets and the Sunshine Coast Council for its tremendous support this year.”

The RSPCA hopes to see over 20,000 pets desexed across Queensland during the 3 month campaign to help prevent unwanted litters ending up at RSPCA centres and council facilities.
